The UK Government has invested £300 million to launch the development of a cluster of advanced computers for AI research.
The project includes:
- The Dawn supercomputer at the University of Cambridge.
- The Isambard-AI system in Bristol.
These facilities will provide at least a thirty-fold increase in the UK's AI supercomputing capacity. The aim is to support AI and simulation research.
